A leading veterinary investment group: HR & Payroll Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Register the monthly work schedules in ERGANI, ensuring timely submission in accordance with legal requirements
  • Manage and update the leave schedule (annual leave, unpaid leave, sick leave, etc.) and accurately record all types of absences in the system
  • Submit ad-hoc schedule changes (shift changes, overtime, extended hours, modifications to working hours) in both the internal scheduling system and ERGANI prior to implementation, following labor law guidelines
  • Support the daily operations of the HR Department by ensuring smooth and efficient processes
  • Act as a liaison between HR and employees, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering clear and open communication to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement
  • Organize, maintain, and update internal databases and employee records
  • Manage internal working plan attendance files and prepare respective ERGANI files
  • Monitor and ensure employees attendance records and related activities
  • Collect all required documentation & administer new hires in the systems
  • Create personal files for all new hires and ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete and in accordance with legal requirements
  • Prepare HR documents, like emplyment contracts
  • Responsible for the administration of employee benefits such as Health/food allowance benefits etc
  • Liaison with Occupational Doctor to schedule meetings with employees
  • Prepare and issue employee certifications upon relevant requests
  • Prepare HR reports relating to personnel activities and HR metrics
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in human resources management would be considered an asset
  • Up to 2 years of previous experience in an HR role
  • Previous experience of payroll related activities
  • Thorough knowledge of Greek employment law
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS Systems (Business Epsilon Net etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize important projects/tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to work well independently and in teams
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
